Honda's very own pocket rocket. I owned my Type-R in 2002 and had near perfect motoring during my ownership. Only a cam sensor failure one summer was the blot on its near perfect record.

I personally have used the site to get advice and seek help with things I have had no previous experience with and generally to socialise. If your thinking about owning a Civic Type-R or are currently an owner and have not registered then get on the forum and start making friends. Whether your own an old or current model I can't recommend a better place to start. There is of course now a new model on our roads and a new Type-R is now being delivered nationwide.
The old debate that use to rage on the forum was which colour was the fastest, Silver, Red or Black - well its was Black of course... or should that now be Silver?!
I'm not going to get into the long debates that used to frequent the forum of which make, model and price of car was the best but the Honda slogan at launch summed it up, "Bye Bye GTi" which covers enough of the four wheeled competitor options out there today. Now what shall I get next..............
The new GT is proving to be as exciting to drive as the old one, albeit with a little more mature feel to the car and more suited to longer trips without the need of ear defenders!!
